college life

this post is pretty superficial considering today is actually my first day of class and ive technically not even had a real class yet.

BUT!
sofar, college seems to be like summer camp? hahaa maybe it's because it's still summertime idunno but it seriously just feels like some kind of summer camp where i have to be independent and im away from home and i have a roommate and well... it's not going to last? i feel like im going to be going back home/ high school life in a couple of weeks or something. very odd.

also, seeing as i go to USC it's crucial that i discuss the social scene here no? let's see. first night of welcome week (WELCOME WEEK! aka classes havent even started) drunk people EVERYWHERE. i go outside to buy some water and i see a group of people hookah-ing with a bong outside. no big deal at all. interesting to say the least. same thing for like.. every night of welcome week. freshmen relishing the fact that theyre independent and in college now. also, we must note that i saw paramedics on campus like. everynight.
TODAY! prerush reason is now underway which means beautiful barbie doll like girls are walking around in their matching white tanks and short denim shorts with clipboards. i've definitely never seen so many lauren conrads, audrina patridges, or even brody jenners in my life. as i told michelle, USC is full of pretty people, trashy people, and asians.

well i shall update more on my college experience thus far later. i have a class in ten minutes! bahh!!!!
