sigh, i am now left with 3 hours and 35 minutes of summer.
i haven't opened Heart of Darkness since July except when i moved it to and from places and occasionally dropped it. but im hoping to get by with sparknotes and skimming. cheers to senior year.

my brother's absence hasn't really hit me yet. well, im not sad or feel any different than before... but today, i realized that my life has indeed changed since my brother's departure.
why, you ask?
...
i have to take out the trash.
oh woe woe woe.
oh and we cleaned out his desk today. so now i have to sit next to my ever-so-distracting little brother.

today, while cleaning out my brother's desk/ the whole house my mom found my 8th grade report card. she heaved a very koreanmotherly dramatic sigh and handed it to me, wordlessly.
in 8th grade i had almost straight A+'s with the occasional A's and one A-. i totally remember when getting an A- was bad news. unfortunately, now, getting a B is good and getting a C is bad news. this is why my mom has hope for me...
oh, how far we have fallen.

note to self: must blog about ridiculous college emails/ letters that give seniors a false sense of security.
ps: i was wrong, my blogger is on korean on any computer. WHY?!! at least i know how to change it.
